Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care during overnight shifts
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
• Monitor and assess patient status and promptly report changes to the care team
• Accurately document care, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support safe, high-quality care
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed during per-diem coverage

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (as applicable for the role/class listed)
• Current basic clinical skills and comfort working independently on per-diem shifts
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a per-diem schedule
• Professional attitude, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and monitoring during overnight hours
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Prioritization and time management in a fast-paced environment
• Clear, professional communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting (facility-specific training provided)
