Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert C-arm and O-arm coverage in the Operating Room to support surgical teams
• Perform intraoperative X-ray procedures safely and accurately for surgical interventions
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiology to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring readiness and adherence to safety protocols
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with imaging advances
• Support interdisciplinary patient care by communicating findings and anticipating team needs
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards in all procedures

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT registration
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (preferred experience in Level I Trauma or teaching hospital)
• Proficiency operating C-arm and O-arm systems (HARD STOP: must have 3s or 4s for C-arm and O-arm)
• Experience in OR imaging and mobile/surgical imaging environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well with surgical teams
• Charting system experience preferred (Epic)
• Familiarity with equipment such as GE, CT Airo, Medtronic, Stryker, Ziehm is a plus

Education

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT registration
• Current BLS certification
• State licensure where applicable (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• C-arm and O-arm operation and intraoperative imaging
• General X-ray procedures in surgical settings
• Operating Room protocols and surgical imaging workflows
• Equipment maintenance and safety checks
• Mobile/surgical imaging setups and patient positioning
• Effective communication and teamwork under pressure
• Charting/documentation (Epic preferred)
