Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on resident care in accordance with facility policies
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Monitor and document resident condition and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe transfers and fall-prevention measures to protect residents
• Maintain a clean, respectful environment and uphold infection control practices
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care and positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (VT or NH eligibility preferred)
• Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification if required by facility
• Comfort working 12+ hour night shifts and caring for a diverse resident population
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass facility background checks and any required health screenings

Education

• LNA certification or equivalent state-approved nursing assistant program completion
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care best practices and safety protocols
• Skill in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
• Accurate charting and attention to detail
• Effective communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Basic understanding of infection control and safe patient handling
