Shift Type: Rotating 2-week schedule: Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday; Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (day)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility)
Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition accurately and promptly
Support safe transfers and mobility while promoting resident independence
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and families about resident needs
Document care and observations clearly in resident charts and electronic records
Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — NH or VT licensure preferred given job title
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and a rotating weekend schedule
Strong communication skills, compassion, and the ability to work well on a team
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

Completion of a state-approved LNA training program
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of personal care techniques and safe resident handling
Ability to take and report vital signs and changes in condition
Familiarity with infection prevention and basic clinical protocols
Good documentation practices and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care and teamwork
