Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, occasional Saturdays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures including GI/GJ tube placements, port insertions, angiograms, lumbar punctures, myelograms, nephrostomy tube placements, stent placements, IVC filter placements, and blood patches
Assist physicians during neuro endovascular procedures such as embolizations, stents, and stroke treatments
Prepare and position patients, operate imaging equipment like Philips Allera and Medrad injector, and ensure patient comfort and safety
Maintain sterile technique and collaborate with RNs and physicians during sedation cases
Document procedures in Cerner and manage images in PACS

Qualifications

ARRT (R) certification required
Arizona MRTBE-CRT license required
VI certificate preferred but not required
Scrub experience preferred
Level I trauma experience required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in interventional radiology procedures and equipment
Experience with Cerner EMR and DR (PACS)
Knowledge of sterile technique and patient monitoring
Ability to work in a fast-paced Level I trauma setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
