Interventional Radiology Technician (IR Tech)

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts

Start Date: 06-07-2026

End Date: 04-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday, with rotating call including every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
Assist radiologists during procedures
Prepare and position patients for imaging
Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed
Maintain equipment and supplies
Document patient care and procedures accurately

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
Valid state license or compact license
Minimum 1 year of experience as IR Tech
Ability to take call and work flexible hours

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in interventional radiology techniques
Knowledge of radiation safety
Strong patient care skills
Excellent communication and teamwork
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
