Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Position patients correctly for procedures such as EGDs, colonoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies
Collect and handle specimens according to strict protocols
Set up and break down endoscopy scopes and equipment
Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized procedure room
Support the team with bedside precleaning of scopes and restocking supplies

Qualifications

Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience as a GI/Endo Tech
Ability to work in a fast-paced ambulatory environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient positioning and specimen collection
Experienced with endoscopy scope setup and breakdown
Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
