Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient conditions accurately and promptly
Support nursing staff by communicating changes in patient status and care needs
Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Current and active CNA certification (California) — required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Previous experience in patient care or long-term care setting is a plus
Ability to follow care plans, take direction, and work as part of a team
Good communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Patient safety practices and infection control
Accurate documentation and charting habits
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Comfortable with routine clinical tasks and following established procedures
