Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, patient transfers, and basic monitoring
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient status changes to the care team
Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (required)
Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Comfortable assisting with mobility and personal care tasks
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and comfort with activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and safe patient handling practices
Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Dependability, attention to detail, and compassionate bedside manner
