Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Help with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility support
Take and record vital signs, reporting changes in condition to nursing staff
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Assist with transfers and safe patient handling under supervision
Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the care team and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; PA certification preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and TB screening as required
Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with good communication skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and hygiene best practices
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Safe transfer and positioning techniques
Infection control and universal precautions
Basic charting and electronic documentation familiarity
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
