Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Perform patient transfers and mobility assistance safely and respectfully
• Monitor and document vital signs, behavior changes, and care activities accurately
• Support the nursing team with treatments, observations, and timely communication
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Engage with residents and families to promote dignity, comfort, and a positive experience

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Eligible to work in New Mexico for the duration of the assignment
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred but welcome at all levels
• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to resident-centered care

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Strong documentation and communication abilities
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate with clinical teams
