Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Support safe mobility and transfers following facility protocols
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Collaborate with the care team to promote dignity, comfort, and quality of life for residents

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings (e.g., TB testing)
Comfortable working directly with patients and performing physical tasks
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control
Ability to follow care plans and report clinical observations
Good interpersonal skills and empathy with residents and families
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
Familiarity with documentation practices in long-term care settings
