Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care
Location: Lancaster, PA
Start Date: 04-29-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate basic care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, mobility, and meal support
- Take and record vital signs and communicate changes to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized resident-centered care
- Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Comfortable assisting with mobility and physical resident care
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to complete required facility onboarding and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and safety practices
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Recording vitals and observing changes in condition
- Resident-centered care and dignity-focused support
- Reliable time management and documentation skills
