Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document resident condition and vital signs accurately
• Support safe transfers, mobility assistance, and proper use of assistive devices
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with nurses and care team members to implement care plans
• Communicate respectfully with residents and families to promote dignity and comfort

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to stand and move for shift duration
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical skills for activities of daily living and basic patient care
• Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and the care team
• Basic charting and record-keeping experience
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes in resident condition
