Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status clearly and accurately
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention during all interactions
• Assist nursing team with treatments and bedside care as directed
• Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control best practices
• Communicate observations and changes in condition to the nurse in charge promptly

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a resident-first attitude
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with assisting clients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Basic vital signs measurement and charting
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and PPE use
• Good observational skills and clear documentation habits
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Customer-service mindset when interacting with residents and families
