Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to preserve dignity and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report any changes to nursing staff
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
• Document care clearly and accurately to support continuity and quality
• Communicate effectively with the care team and residents' families to coordinate care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Valid CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained per facility policy
• Ability to provide hands-on patient care and assist with mobility safely
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Able to meet facility requirements such as background check and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care skills and ADL assistance
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Infection control and safe patient-handling practices
• Accurate documentation and attention to detail
• Compassionate communication and teamwork
