Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers, ambulation and mobility assistance
• Document care accurately and communicate observations to the care team
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (PA preferred)
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing or acute care is a plus
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks, TB screening and health requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Resident-centered care and safe patient handling
• Assisting with ADLs, feeding and hygiene
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Accurate documentation and basic electronic charting familiarity
• Infection control best practices and safety protocols
• Compassionate communication with residents, families and staff
