Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist nursing staff with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the care team
• Document care accurately and timely in resident charts
• Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• Preferred current BLS/CPR certification
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility needs
• Ability to pass background check and comply with facility onboarding requirements
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in assisting with ADLs and providing bedside care
• Knowledge of infection control and proper PPE use
• Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
• Ability to follow care plans and document observations clearly
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Compassionate interpersonal skills and resident-centered care approach
