Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days vary based on facility needs

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Help with safe transfers and mobility assistance following facility protocols
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Support resident comfort and dignity while building trusting relationships

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide patient-focused care with professionalism
Reliable, punctual, and able to pass background and health screenings
Previous experience in long-term care or clinical setting is a plus, but motivated new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED AND completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong basic nursing care skills and knowledge of ADLs
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Comfortable with documentation and charting standards
Empathy, patience, and strong observation skills
Ability to follow direction and prioritize resident needs
