Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and promptly communicate changes to the nursing team
• Support residents during mobility and transfer tasks using safe lifting techniques
• Follow individualized care plans and document interventions in the patient record
• Promote a clean, safe and comfortable environment while following infection control protocols
• Build strong relationships with residents and families through respectful, patient-centered communication
• Collaborate with nurses and rehab staff to support therapy goals and timely discharge planning

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• T-CNA or Travel CNA experience is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Comfort working 12-hour day shifts and flexible to travel for the assignment
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic nursing care and resident assistance
• Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and electronic charting
• Ability to take and record accurate vital signs
• Good patient handling and safe transfer techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
