Cardiovascular Surgical Physician Assistant
Location: Redding, California
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: All shifts including weekends, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM onsite then night call 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Candidate Pay Rate: $161 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in 10-11 heart surgeries per month plus thoracic cases
- Perform endovascular vein harvesting using Maquet Hemopro 2
- Conduct morning rounds and write notes on post-op patients
- Support follow-up clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays seeing up to 6 patients
- Collaborate with surgeons on patient care for fewer than 10 inpatients
Qualifications
- Board Certified required
- Active California State License
- ACLS, BLS, DEA certifications
- Clean malpractice history
- Recent substantial cardiovascular surgical assist experience
- Substantial EVH experience mandatory
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days
