Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with care and precision
• Position patients correctly and ensure high-quality imaging results
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment following safety protocols
• Verify patient identity, document procedures, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support timely patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Experience performing radiography/X-ray procedures (preferred)
• Weekend availability for occasional coverage (required)
• State radiography license or ARRT certification as required by state regulations
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Strong patient-care skills and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse patients

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiography program or equivalent training/certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning and techniques
• Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems and PACS
• Ability to work efficiently under time pressure while keeping patient comfort in mind
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment care skills
