Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing for adult ICU patients in a 23-bed unit
• Assess, monitor and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately
• Document patient care and clinical findings in Cerner EHR
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Support patient and family education, delivering compassionate communication

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact as appropriate)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care / ICU nursing experience
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Comfortable using Cerner electronic documentation
• Ability to work night/overnight shifts and float to ED when needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care and ICU nursing skills
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR documentation
• Advanced cardiac life support and emergency response
• Effective patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Familiarity with typical ICU patient ratios and workflow
