Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert scrub support during surgical procedures, ensuring surgeons have the right instruments at the right time
• Maintain a sterile field and strict aseptic technique to protect patient safety
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary supplies, equipment, and sterilization before each case
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and RNs to deliver seamless intraoperative care

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Surgical Technologist experience (required)
• Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification held for at least 2 years (required)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (declinations not accepted)
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and OR protocols
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Ability to remain focused and adaptable in fast-paced surgical environments
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle demanding cases
