Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert care to women during labor and childbirth
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being throughout the birthing process
• Coach mothers through labor and assist physicians during delivery
• Educate patients and families about the stages of childbirth
• Support new mothers with breastfeeding and postpartum care

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Active Illinois RN license
• Illinois Nurse agency license in submittal profile
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
• Travel nursing experience is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of labor and delivery nursing practices
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring and interpretation
• Excellent patient education and coaching skills
• Understanding of breastfeeding support techniques
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced birthing center
