Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for orthodontic procedures, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed
• Assist the orthodontist during examinations and procedures, passing instruments and providing support
• Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions as directed
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts

Qualifications

• Certified or registered dental assistant (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Experience in orthodontics is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Knowledge of dental imaging software (including Denticon) is a plus

• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with infection control standards
