Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Provide personalized patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate records
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent clinical skills with a gentle, patient-first approach
• Strong communication skills to educate and connect with patients
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work independently

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of dental hygiene practices, instruments, and infection control protocols
• Familiarity with dental software for charting and patient records
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work collaboratively with dentists and dental assistants
• Empathetic patient communication and education skills
