Roles & Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to each patient's health and situation
• Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and identify expected outcomes
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care that promote health and a safe environment
• Educate patients and families, collaborating with the entire healthcare team
• Contribute to the professional development of peers through collaboration and mentorship
• Evaluate nursing practice against professional standards and integrate evidence-based research
• Provide leadership in the clinical setting and uphold ethical nursing practice
• Support stroke and trauma protocols, including annual education and compliance

Qualifications

• Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• American Heart Association ACLS certification required
• American Heart Association PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) required
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing or critical care experience required
• Ability to practice modified primary nursing with competence and willingness
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and nights

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
