Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver exceptional patient care using the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families, empowering them from admission through discharge
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate critical changes promptly
• Champion patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced emergency department

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or active compact license
• 2+ years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and nursing process expertise
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Effective multitasking and prioritization under pressure
