Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional dental cleanings and prophylaxis to patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including oral cancer screenings
• Take and develop high-quality dental x-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and tools
• Ability to use digital x-ray systems
• Knowledge of dental software for patient documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and infection control practices
