Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living support to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility, transferring, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Engage with residents to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, personalized care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in West Virginia (or compact state if applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Skill in using electronic medical records or charting systems
• Understanding of infection control standards and HIPAA regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Compassionate bedside manner with attention to detail
