Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for their appointments by taking vital signs and updating medical histories
• Assist physicians and clinicians with exams, procedures, and treatments
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed
• Collect and prepare lab specimens for testing
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Provide compassionate education and clear follow-up instructions to patients

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent credential preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Comfort with electronic health records and basic clinical tasks
• Ability to work Monday through Friday during daytime hours

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical terminology and office procedures
• Skilled in vital sign measurement, patient intake, and specimen handling
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation habits
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment
