Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Salisbury, MD
Start Date: 12-07-2025
End Date: 03-07-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations for patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Deliver skilled therapy that improves communication and swallowing function
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to achieve goals
- Document all services accurately and in compliance with regulations and facility standards
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Maryland SLP license in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
- New graduates are welcome to apply!
- Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills
Education
- Master's degree (MS/MA) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Speech, language, and swallowing therapy techniques
- Patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork
- Infection control best practices
