Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed
• Provide warm and compassionate care to patients of all ages
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as needed

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Assistant (COA) or equivalent orthodontic certification required
• Must be ortho certified as noted in the job requirements
• Experience as a dental assistant, preferably in orthodontics, is highly valued
• Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Denticon) is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with chairside duties
