Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all surgical instruments are sterile and ready
• Scrub in for general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, OBGYN, and endoscopy procedures
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating their needs
• Take call and respond quickly for emergency and scheduled surgeries
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and safety standards throughout each procedure

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent surgical scrub tech experience
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Experience across general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, OBGYN, and endoscopy
• Ability to take call and work 10-hour shifts
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and OR protocols
• Ability to stay calm and focused during fast-paced, high-pressure surgery
• Knowledge of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Sharp attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
