Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams and procedures, ensuring seamless patient care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for each patient
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on treatment plans and proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and update Denticon software
• Support a positive, welcoming atmosphere from check-in to checkout
• Collaborate with the dental team to keep schedules on track

Qualifications

• Friendly and compassionate with a passion for patient care
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a big plus
• Comfortable using dental software systems like Denticon
• Willing to work afternoon/evening hours

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail with a knack for organization
• Sterilization and infection control best practices
• Ability to multitask and work as a team
