Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech and swallowing abilities of patients with impairments due to premature birth, injuries, or disease
• Develop and implement evidence-based care plans tailored to each patient's age and development
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and adjust intervention strategies
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned to support patient care

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an SLP
• Neonatal and pediatric experience highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in speech and swallowing assessments
• Skilled in Modified Barium Swallow Studies
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Working knowledge of neonatal and pediatric therapy
• Ability to work with adult populations as needed
