Location: Houston, Texas
Start Date: 08-03-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate speech and swallowing abilities of patients with impairments due to premature birth, injuries, or disease
- Develop and implement evidence-based care plans tailored to each patient's age and development
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and adjust intervention strategies
- Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned to support patient care
Qualifications
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an SLP
- Neonatal and pediatric experience highly preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in speech and swallowing assessments
- Skilled in Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- Working knowledge of neonatal and pediatric therapy
- Ability to work with adult populations as needed
