Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status and responses to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to provide the highest quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license or ability to obtain one
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Occupational therapy principles and therapeutic interventions
• Patient care and education techniques
• Accurate documentation and medical record keeping
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Infection control and safety protocols
