Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders to improve their communication and quality of life
• Develop personalized treatment and discharge plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulations and facility standards
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to ensure holistic care
• Uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Current Maryland SLP license or ability to obtain one
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in speech, language, and swallowing therapy
• Skilled in patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Proficient in documentation and compliance
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving abilities
