Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients presenting with diverse medical emergencies
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vitals and condition, escalating concerns promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and initiate life-saving measures

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• ACLS certification preferred
• PALS certification a plus
• Previous ER or acute care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities
• Ability to remain calm under pressure

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
• Proficiency in patient assessment and triage
• Experience with electronic health records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care
