Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions per the PT plan of care and make a real difference in patients' lives
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment to track their recovery journey
• Empower patients with education and home exercise programs to continue healing on their own
• Keep the supervising PT in the loop by communicating patient status and progress
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by adhering to safety, infection control, and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license (or the ability to obtain one)
• A team player who can follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy techniques and interventions
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Documentation and record-keeping
• Patient education and home exercise instruction
• Infection control and safety protocols
