Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders and referrals
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Document services accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) per practice acts and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active state Occupational Therapy license, or ability to obtain one
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills

Education

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Proficient in discharge planning and thorough documentation
• Skilled in supervising COTAs and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Knowledgeable about safety and regulatory compliance standards
• Excellent communication and clinical skills
