Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM with rotating weekday call 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM and every other weekend call Friday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Saturday 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams including abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, and NICU imaging
Assist with breast biopsies and interventional radiology procedures
Support operating room cases with real-time imaging expertise
Conduct Doppler studies and neonatal head, kidney, and spine scans
Transport patients when volumes are low to support other modalities
Communicate clearly and document thoroughly with radiologists and care teams

Qualifications

ARDMS certification required
BLS certification required
Experience in breast imaging and procedures preferred
Familiarity with NICU imaging strongly valued
Valid driver's license required at submittal
Strong communication and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS
Comfortable using Siemens Sequoia ultrasound systems
Knowledge of Trophon probe cleaning protocols
Skilled in general, breast, OB/GYN, and neonatal ultrasound
Able to handle 10-12 scans per day efficiently
Team-oriented with flexibility to support other areas
