Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, plus call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound exams
Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision
Collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety during every scan
Document findings clearly in Fuji EPIC and PACS systems

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN)
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound
Vascular experience highly valued
Comfortable performing procedures and working with Philips equipment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound techniques
Skilled with Fuji EPIC and PACS systems
Familiar with Philips ultrasound equipment
Able to handle 8-10+ scans per day
Strong attention to detail and patient care
