Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
• Assist in spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and cerclage procedures
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using advanced equipment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and positive outcomes
• Educate and support families through the birthing process
• Maintain a calm, compassionate presence in a fast-paced Level IV unit

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state
• 2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Intermediate fetal monitoring certification (EFM)
• Competency in SVE and C-section circulation
• Team player with a positive attitude ready to hit the ground running

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Meditech EMR
• Skilled in using Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, and other fetal monitoring tools
• Expertise in high-volume Level IV unit operations
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
