Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process from assessment through evaluation
• Monitor telemetry and respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Communicate clearly with physicians and the care team about diagnostic results, symptoms, and patient progress
• Guide and educate patients and families while supervising and supporting other nursing personnel
• Maintain compliance with EMTALA regulations and protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license verified through Nursys
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, and DCI/BVP certifications
• Experience in Emergency Department nursing and telemetry preferred
• Ability to pass Prime specialty exams and skills checklist including pharmacology, rhythm interpretation, and core competencies

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and emergency interventions
• Knowledge of EMTALA regulations and reporting requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Compassionate patient teaching and family support skills
