Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management
• Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
• Valid BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Previous experience in an ICU or critical care setting is strongly preferred
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Proficiency in managing ventilators, IV pumps, and other critical care equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate and empathetic patient care approach
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
