Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; call rotation every 3 weeks and every third weekend

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist physicians during cath lab procedures while ensuring patient safety
• Monitor and assess patient hemodynamic status throughout procedures
• Administer medications and contrast agents as directed
• Provide compassionate care and education to patients and families
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
• Current BLS certification
• NIHSS certification required
• Cath Lab experience preferred, but new grads with a passion for cardiology are encouraged to apply
• Ability to participate in call rotation and work every third weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and sterile technique
• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency with electronic health records and cardiac imaging systems
