Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU and PICU
• Operate and manage high-flow devices, ventilators (Servo, 3100A, Bunnell), and continuous nebulizers
• Administer nitric oxide and heliox therapy as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
• Document patient progress in Meditech system
• Float to adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, CPT when required

Qualifications

• Must have current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Previous Meditech experience strongly preferred
• NICU/PICU experience required
• Team player with critical thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in advanced respiratory equipment and technologies
• Expertise in neonatal and pediatric critical care respiratory management
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
