Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Attend high-risk deliveries to provide immediate critical care
Manage ventilators including conventional and high-frequency oscillatory systems
Administer surfactant and nitric oxide therapies to improve tiny lungs
Acquire and interpret blood gases for precise treatment decisions
Collaborate with NICU team to support 36-bed unit during peak volumes
Operate advanced equipment like Drager VN500, 3100A Oscillators and Vapotherms

Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist license
1+ year of experience, with Level 3 NICU preferred or 3-5 years Level 2 NICU
NRP certification required
STABLE certification a plus
Positive attitude, critical thinking and detail-oriented mindset

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in NICU respiratory care and high-risk neonate support
Proficiency with Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A Oscillators, Mallinckrodt Nitric Oxide and Vapotherms
Strong blood gas analysis and interpretation skills
Ability to work independently in fast-paced 36-bed Level 3 NICU
Familiarity with Meditech and NeoNotes EMR systems
